A warm and sunny weather was forecasted for Saturday, so we decided to head back to the sea. This time for a one-day sail to Seili island with my parents. These shorter day trips offer a good chance to visit places nearer to one’s home port, which are often passed when aiming at places further way. For example, I haven’t visited Seili probably for almost 15 years, even if it is located just a bit over ten nautical miles from our current home port.

The weather was just perfect for a relaxing day sail, and we could travel most of the days’ two legs under sail.

The wooden church of Seili is from the 18th century.

The former hospital buildings from the 19th century.
