Dolphin Dance spent five days in Egersund gjestehavn. It is a sheltered harbour located right in the center of the Egersund, where there are about 11 000 inhabitants. There are a quite many shops and all the facilities one needs. There are also good connections to Stavanger and Oslo by train, so it was a good place for us because of the change of crew.

When we arrived in Egersund, the weather was not as good as one might hope. There was two days of pouring rain so at first, we did not explore the town that much. There was a lot of activities going on in Egersund – right next to the guest harbour, there was a music event called Egersund Visefestival and we could listen to the Norwegian folk music in our boat. On Thursday, the weather got finally better but the winds were still strong so we had to still stay in the harbour. We ended up renting a car and decided to head for Stavanger. We will post photos about our trip soon, but here first some pictures from Egersund.
