We got a great downwind sailing for the 80 nm leg from Nynäshamn (Stockholm Archipelago) to Visby. We started on Friday evening (the 5th of July) after the strongest winds and rain had moved away. The northwesterly wind still kept blowing at around 20 knots through the night, so we could keep the average speed above 7 knots for the whole leg. We (I sailed this leg together with my father) arrived to Visby around 5.30 am and got a berth from inner harbour basin.

My parents stayed with us in Gotland and we ended up staying four nights in the Visby harbour, before getting a favourable weather window for a leg over to Öland. During our stay in Gotland, we rented a car and made a roadtrip to Fårö.
