The day after a rainy evening in Kökar was very sunny, and we decided to wait until the afternoon to have a bit more wind than early in the morning. We sailed through a very beautiful route and headed finally towards a natural anchorage called Bänö Ön. We just read an article about this anchorage in the Finnish boating magazine Vene-lehti. In the article, Bänö Ön was presented as a very good alternative for a break after the passage through Kihti towards Åland islands from the Turku archipelago. Antti had actually visited this anchorage about twenty years ago, but together we had not visited this place. It was nice to visit a Finnish anchorage, and this one even reminded us about the Swedish Paradiset, even though here there were not more than fifty boats but only about ten this time.
The following morning was very foggy and we stayed quite long in the anchorage until we continued sailing towards west. Just a moment after taking that foggy photo the fog cleared and after that we had a great sailing wind towards Kastelholm.
