Winter 2021 in the Archipelago

It has been nice, after a couple of years, to have a proper winter weather also in Southern Finland. In other words, I don’t mind having four distinct seasons, even if it means that sailing season starts a couple of weeks later.

Weather was perfect for ice-skiing in mid-February.

In mid-March the Northern coast of Kustavi was still covered by ice.

Ice thickness in mid-March (16/3) was still 20 cm in our home bay in Kustavi.
