Due to the warm spring we got a record early start for this season. Dolphin Dance II was launched on the 1st of April and we cast-off for the first sailing trip of the year on the 10th of April (Easter weekend). The weather during the weekend was sunny, windy and cold as both the air and water temperature were just a couple of degrees above the freezing point. However, compared to the last trips of the Autumn, the Sun made the weather feel warmer.

Due to the Covid-19 situation, Finland is currently in lock-down, as are most parts of the world, but outdoor activities (including sailing) are still allowed by the Finnish government. Thus, our home marina is open and we can go sailing and stay at the boat on wild anchorages or private yachting club harbours. As it is still a very early season here, guest harbours are not open yet, so we will see what the policy is going to be regarding public marinas.
